booking

First of all, send us all the details of your group number, chosen activities and date of arrival, then pay the required deposit by bank transfer or the completely safe PayPal system. By booking at Budapest Madness, it is considered that you and all members of your group accepted all these terms and conditions. (It is your responsibility to give all members of your group a line on the following terms and conditions.) Your contract with us comes into existence when we send you a confirmation e-mail or a check that verifies the receipt of your deposit. The emails between us, these terms and conditions and general information constitute the entire agreement between you and Budapest Madness. It must be understood that if you book via e-mail or telephone you accept our terms and conditions.

deposit

Payment has to be done by one person; there is no possibility for individual payments. For a valid booking deposit is required unless in special circumstances we tell you otherwise. Please take into consideration that not paying the deposit in time may cause difficulties in organizing your chosen itinerary. Until your deposit arrives we cannot book you your activities and accommodation and therefore cannot guarantee their availability in the inquired date and time.

final payment

It is your decision to pay the outstanding balance by transferring the money by bank, through the PayPal system or paying by cash on arrival. If you choose the latter version, it is your responsibility to collect the outstanding balance and give the entire amount in one currency (either GBP, EURO or Hungarian Forint) to our representative on the first day of your trip before your first activity. Paying in installments is not possible. Please note that if you choose to pay in any other currency than what your invoice states, all the calculations we make is based on the current exchange rate of the Hungarian National Bank.

pricing

The minimum group size is always indicated at each activity; this may reflect in your payment should your numbers drop below this.
The Stag Goes Free Special offer only applies with the following conditions: You must book a minimum of a one night stay, at least one daytime activity and your party must be 15 people or more all participating in the full package.
We reserve the right to make changes in the prices before your reservation is accepted.
After you booked programs with us, the calculated total price for your itinerary is considered as the final amount that we won't change or add extras to, only in case of major currency fluctuations.

changes made by you

Until we confirm your booking you can make any changes free of charge. In case of any changes, we calculate on the current prices that may differ from the originally set amount. Please note that changing in last minute may cause difficulties in organizing your itinerary, so if it is necessary, try to change some weeks before your arrival.
Please note that the discount in your package offer applies for the group number you originally inquired for. If some people drop out from your group, we cannot guarantee you the same prices; in this case a new agreement must be done regarding the new package price.

being late from an activity

We send you the itinerary before you arrive to Budapest. It is your responsibility to inform the members of your group of the itinerary and make sure everybody shows up in time. If you want to change the itinerary last minute, please use our hot line or discuss it with your guide at least one day before the activity. If you don't inform us in time and you are more than 30 minutes late from an activity, we have the right to charge you 50 EUR / group / hour from the 31st minute after the original pick up time. (Reason being: our prices are calculated with the average length of an activity. The prices do not include the extra money we have to pay for the bus, guide and service provider for every additional hour, if you are late). Please note that if you are late more than 30 minutes and the service provider cannot accept your group in a latter time that day or any other day during your stay – or you don't accept the date and time the service provider offers instead - we charge the total cost of that activity. (Reason being: we still have to pay every service provider if we don't show up and we did not cancel in time.)

cancellation by you

You may cancel your reservation at any time, but after your booking is confirmed you lose your deposit. Cancellations made within three days before or after arrival or no show cause a charge of the total cost. For a valid cancellation the person made the reservation has to send a written message to us.
For accommodation different cancellation policy may be applied. You will be informed of these details before booking.

changes made by us

We reserve the right to change any supplier at any time which has no effect on your chosen itinerary. If a natural disaster, war, civil war, riot (vis maior) etc. occurs after your arrival and it makes impossible to organize the activity, we reserve the right to cancel any programs without refund.

liability

We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees and suppliers except where they lead to death or personal injury. Please note that we accept no liability for accidents or misadventure if any of your group were under the effect of alcohol or drugs at that time when the accident happened. In all cases, you must first seek compensation from the primary supplier (Hotel or Activity provider). Our liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of the price of the certain activity arrangements where the incident occurred. In some cases persons in your group may have to sign disclaimer forms before commencing certain activities. Please note that Budapest Madness and all suppliers and hotels have every right to terminate, without notice, your stay or activity under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behavior deemed inappropriate by them. If any member of your group is under the effect of alcohol or drugs at that time of the activity we reserve the right to prohibit that person’s participation in the activity without refund. We do not accept responsibility for any damage caused by your group. In this case you may have to pay the caused damage immediately by cash or credit card.

law and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by Hungarian Law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Pesti Központi Kerületi Bíróság.
