First of all, send us all the details of your group number, chosen activities and the date of your arrival, then pay the required deposit by bank transfer or the completely safe PayPal system (in case you choose the latter option, an extra 4% charge will be added). By booking at Stag Madness, you and all members of your group accept all the terms and conditions. (It is your responsibility to let all members of your group know about the following terms and conditions).
We become bound by contract when we send you a confirmation e-mail or a check that verifies the receipt of your deposit. Emails between us, these terms and conditions and general information constitute the entire agreement between you and Stag Madness. It must be understood that if you book via e-mail or telephone you accept our terms and conditions.
Payment has to be done by one person; there is no possibility for individual payments. A valid booking deposit is required, unless in special circumstances we tell you otherwise. Please take into your consideration that not paying the deposit on time may cause difficulties in organizing your chosen itinerary. Until your deposit arrives we cannot book you your activities and accommodation and therefore cannot guarantee their availability on the required date and time.
It is your decision to pay the outstanding balance by transferring the money by bank, via the PayPal system (in case you choose this option, an extra 4 % charge will be added) or paying by cash on arrival. If you choose the latter option, it is your responsibility to collect the outstanding balance and deliver the entire amount in one currency (either GBP - Scottish Pound is not accepted -, EURO or Hungarian Forint) to our representative on the first day of your trip before your first activity. Paying in installments is not possible. Please note that if you choose to pay in any other currency than that indicated in your invoice states, all the calculations we make will be based on the current exchange rate of the Hungarian National Bank.
The minimum group size is always indicated at each activity; this may be reflected in your payment, should the number of your group members drop below this figure.
We reserve the right to make changes in the prices before your reservation is accepted. Once you have booked your programs with us, the calculated total price for your itinerary is considered the final amount that we won't change or add extras to, other than in case of major currency fluctuations. Please note: all prices on this website are in GBP and EURO, but orders will be charged in EURO only. Final pricing is determined by the current conversion rate at the time of your order and may vary slightly from the price displayed. Your credit card company may also apply a conversion fee to your transaction.
Changes made by you
Until we have confirmed your booking, you can make any changes free of charge. Please note that after your activity has been paid and confirmed, we calculate according to the current prices that may differ from the originally set amount if you change the activity or the number of people in your group. If you change the date or time of an activity after booking, you will be charged extra 50 EUR per change, so please respect our time, and do not make us book your activity several times (every time you make a change, we have to rebook the bus transfer, the guide and the service provider/s).
Please take into your consideration that last-minute changes may cause difficulties in organizing your itinerary, so unless it is absolutely necessary, try to change a few weeks before your arrival.
Please note that the discount in your package offer applies for the number of group members you originally inquired about. If some people drop out from your group, we cannot guarantee you the same prices; in this case a new agreement must be made regarding the new package price.
Being late from an activity
We send you the itinerary before you arrive to Budapest. It is your responsibility to inform the members of your group of the itinerary and make sure everybody shows up on time. If you want to change the itinerary the last minute, please use our hotline or discuss it with your guide at least one day before the activity. If you don't inform us in time and you are more than 30 minutes late from an activity, we have the right to charge you 50 EUR / group / hour from the 31st minute after the original pick up time. (Reason being: our prices are calculated with the average length of an activity. The prices do not include the extra money we have to pay for the bus, guide and service provider for every additional hour, if you are late).
Please note that if you are more than 30 minutes late and the service provider cannot accommodate your group in a later time that day or any other day during your stay or you don't accept the date and time the service provider offers instead - we will charge you the total price of that activity. (Reason being: we still have to pay every service provider if we don't show up and we don't cancel in time).
Cancellation by you
You may cancel your reservation at any time, but if you do it after your booking is confirmed, you lose your deposit. Cancellations made within three days before or after arrival or no show lead to the charge of the total cost. For a valid cancellation the person who had made the reservation has to send a written message to us.
A different cancellation policy may be applied for accommodation. You will be informed of these details before booking.
Changes made by us
We reserve the right to change any supplier at any time, which will have no effect on your chosen itinerary. After booking we may change the time of your booked activity, but only with your approval. If a natural disaster, war, civil war, riot (force majeure) etc. occurs after your arrival and it makes it impossible to organize the activity, we reserve the right to cancel any program without refund.
We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees and suppliers except where they lead to death or personal injury. Please note that we accept no liability for accidents or misadventure if any of your group were under the effect of alcohol or drugs at the time the accident happened. In all cases, you must first seek compensation from the primary supplier (Hotel or Activity provider).
Our liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of the price of the certain activity arrangements where the incident occurred. In some cases people in your group may have to sign disclaimer forms before commencing certain activities. Please note that Stag Madness and all suppliers and hotels have every right to terminate, without notice, your stay or activity under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behavior deemed inappropriate by them.
If any member of your group is under the effect of alcohol or drugs at the time of the activity, we reserve the right to prohibit that person's participation in the activity without refund. We do not accept responsibility for any damage caused by your group. In this case you may have to pay the caused damage immediately by cash or credit card.
